The Network Interface Card (AR-XNIC) enables the Aaral X4/X8 Analog Addressable Fire Panels and the Network Annunciators (Aaral RP) to connect in a ring network. 16 nodes (panels) peer to peer using this network interface card. The twisted pair cable should be used for interconnecting the panels and distance between two panels (node to node) shall be 1.2Km max. Furthermore, the network must be a closed loop where the output of one fire panel will be connected to the input of the next fire panel. The network card consists of a 3 LED to show the communication status of the Motherboard and NIC card.
